Abstract
ABSTRACT Acomputer model was developed to analyze drip/trickle irrigation system lateral line design by predicting uniformity of emitter discharge. Emitter discharge uniformity was defined by an overall coefficient of variation which is a combination of statistical variation due to manufacturing and variation due to hydraulics. The coefficient of manufacturer's variations and the pressure-discharge relationships for fourteen commercial emitters were determined to validate and utilize the model.
