Trickle Down Effect Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) Of Palm Oil Industry in Development in West Kalimantan Province

Abstract

The research aims to have a trickle-down effect on the community to realize equitable regional development through the palm oil industrial plantation sector in the utilization and contribution by synergizing and harmonizing development priority programs and the CSR (Corporate social responsibility) program in West Kalimantan. Qualitative research methods by extracting information from relevant stakeholders. Problems occur because there is no forum for communication and mediation related to the implementation of CSR and there is no accurate information regarding which fields/aspects need assistance so companies tend to carry out CSR programs without coordinating with local governments which is the obligation of the company, namely "copy-paste design" or simply "spending" the budget. The results obtained are a forum for communication and mediation in synergizing and integrating regional development programs and CSR programs with facilitation by forums and CSR facilitation teams as well as dissemination of information on regional development of CSR programs through various media and the realization of community desires through the CSR Musrenbang and the resulting implementation of monitoring and evaluation of CSR programs by involving relevant stakeholders.
