Abstract

Tribological behavior of composite Langmuir–Blodgett monolayers of triacontanoic acid (TA) with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) particles was studied. It was found that the highest wear stability against mechanical influence of steel indenter was observed for the composite coating formed from suspension of MoS2 particles and TA in equivalent weight ratio.
