Abstract

Three flexible triazine crystalline frameworks materials, [Mn(HTTPCA)]·H2O (1) [Ca(HTTPCA)]·H2O (2) and [Sr(HTTPCA)·H2O] (3) (H3TTPCA = 1, 1′, 1″-(1, 3, 5-triazine-2, 4, 6-triyl) tripiperidine-4-carboxylic acid), were synthesized under solvothermal conditions. The complexes structures were characterized by infrared spectra, ultraviolet spectra, single crystal X-ray diffraction, powder X-ray pattern and thermogravimetric analysis. The heterogeneous catalytic activity of the complex 1 for Janus Green B (JGB), Rhodamine B (RhB), crystal violet (CV) and methylene blue (MB) cationic dyes in aqueous medium was investigated under visible light irradiation. The introduction of the hydrogen peroxide significantly improved the photocatalytic degradation efficiency of dyes. This study illustrates that the photocatalytic degradation of cationic dyes by complex 1 has widespread potential properties with effectively treating cationic dyes in wastewater. In the meantime, it also lays a foundation for future research on the development of new high-efficiency triazine crystalline frameworks materials series photocatalytic.
