Abstract
Besides square wave, triangular wave and trapezoidal wave are common waveforms in modern electronics as well. This chapter is devoted to triangular wave analysis and trapezoidal wave analysis. Main questions include: 1. How to express a signal as a triangular wave series or a trapezoidal wave series? 2. What are the relations of triangular wave series, trapezoidal wave series, and Fourier series? 3. If a signal is known only at some discrete points, how to represent the signal approximately as a summation of finite triangular waves or trapezoidal waves?
