Abstract

We develop a new low-energy theorem for ${K}_{l3}$ decay as the momentum transferred to the lepton pair vanishes. Saturating the axial-vector channel with the pion and the baryon-antibaryon intermediate states, we obtain the result $\ensuremath{\xi}(0)\ensuremath{\simeq}$ - 1 while at the same time preserving the Callan-Treiman relation.
