This situation stimulated the appearance of a great number of atypical technical systems designed to study various higher nervous functions. These technical systems are usually produced in one or a few copies. The results obtained by means of this nonstandard equipment are difficult to compare and reproduce. Therefore, the methodical level of these examinations is not very high.
