Abstract
A quality improvement (QI) review in 2006 showed our average sperm morphology (SM) had decreased and resulted in a loss of predictive value of SM for intrauterine insemination (IUI) outcomes compared to 1996-7 values (Morbeck et al 2011). A QI initiative was implemented to standardize SM and correct the classification drift that had occurred. The aim of this study was to analyze SM and IUI outcomes before and after the QI initiative and to determine its effectiveness in restoring predictive value.
