Abstract

(JAMA. 2017;318(24):2490–2491) Self-reported marijuana use in adult pregnant women in the United States increased from 2.4% to 3.9% between 2002 and 2014. The scope of marijuana use in pregnant women is left unclear due to social bias in self-reporting and underreporting. This study used data from the years 2009-2016 from a large California health care system using self-reporting and urine toxicology screening.
