Abstract

A trial of intranasal desmopressin was conducted in a patient with nocturia and nocturnal enuresis following a severe traumatic brain injury. Desmo pressin proved to be a safe and effective treatment. The frequency of nocturia and disturbed nights was significantly reduced (p <0.05) without any change in the frequency of micturition during waking hours. No side-effects were encountered.
