Abstract

ABSTRACT Although the conventional complete denture has been a standard treatment option for edentulous patients, it may not thoroughly fulfill the esthetic or functional needs of many denture wearers. This situation is commonly encountered, especially in relation to the mandibular ridge. Over the last decade, implant-supported overdenture has emerged as a successful alternative to the more commonly used removable prosthesis. The article discusses the fabrication procedure of an implant-assisted overdenture. How to cite this article Kar S, Tripathi A.
