Abstract
The method developed recently for analysing two-dimensional waveguide bandpass filters in the H-Plane with the finite element method has been extended to bandstop filters in the E-plane. The treatment is even simpler in the bandstop filter case. Only 20 fourth-order elements are needed to obtain an accurate analysis of a five-section bandstop filter.
