Abstract

A method of treatment for temporomandibular joint disturbances by means of traction has been described. In 52 patients, the histories have been almost identical, with the exception of the intrinsic or extrinsic causes. Cuspal interference was corrected where it existed after treatment was completed. There have been no recurrences in those patients that we have been able to recheck periodically during the5 1/2 years we have used this method of treatment.
