Abstract

This paper examines a most difficult to treat sexual problem, secondary erectile dysfunction in males without partners. A treatment model is proposed which examines strategies and a variety of intervention techniques in four component areas: sexual attitudes, sexual anxiety, sexual skills, and hetero-social skills. The male is seen individually, and the interventions focus on making him more comfortable in his ability to monitor and reduce sexual performance anxiety and to be responsible for increasing his sexual arousal responses.
