Abstract

Psoriasis is a common chronic inflammatory skin disease with unclear etiology. Currently, there are many treatment options for psoriasis, but they often have various side effects. Many issues should be considered in the treatment of psoriasis in special populations, such as effect of treatment on pregnancy in pregnant women, safety in children, and influence on primary diseases in patients complicated with hepatitis B or tuberculosis. Although psoriasis cannot be cured, it can be controlled by effective treatment in most patients. For pregnant women, children and patients complicated with hepatitis B or tuberculosis, special treatment protocols should be developed to improve therapeutic effects, reduce adverse reactions, and provide the greatest benefits for patients.
