Abstract

A technique for treatment of pitted scars of the face is described. The pitted scar is removed by a skin punch and replaced by donor grafts obtained from postauricular skin. The graft is placed so that it will be level or slightly elevated and is held in place by using tissue glue, Steri-Strip, or other methods. After 3 to 4 weeks, the skin is leveled by a dermabrasion or other technique. Expected results and complications are discussed.
