Abstract
The aim is to evaluate effectiveness and safety of a permissive-elimination diet alone and combined with standard treatment, the dynamics of interleukin, IgE, eosinophil levels in patients with atopic dermatitis and concomitant food allergy. Methods. 113 patients with food allergies and atopic dermatitis were examined. During the follow-up period, SCORAD and other clinical indicators, levels of IgE, IL 4, 5, 13, eosinophils, ESR were calculated at various timepoints. A statistical analysis was carried out. Results. Permissive-elimination diet as part of complex treatment improves (p<0.05-0.01) SCORAD, dermatological index, increases the duration of remission, the frequency of registration of normal body mass indices, allows for a significant reduction in the use of topical glucocorticosteroids, antihistamines, lowers IgE concentrations, interleukins 4, 5, 13, eosinophil levels, ESR indicators. Permissive elimination diet and emollients alone ensure remission of the disease in 25% of patients. The positive effect of the use of glycine and alpha-2b interferon is shown. Conclusions. The effectiveness and safety of the use of an individual permissive elimination diet, alpha-2b interferon and glycine have been proven.
