Abstract

Objective To explore treatment of burns and the model of emergency rescue for mass burn accident. Methods Retrospectively analyzed 68 cases of burn patients treated were treated with emergency rescuing mode for mass burns in our hospital from 2008 to 2015. Among them, 62 patients were male and 6 patients were female. Mean age of the patients was 36.5±5.6 years (range from21.4 to 62.1 years). TBSA ranged from 2% to98%. The prehospital time was less than 8 h. The treatment effect was analyzed. Results In 68 cases, 67 cases were cured, 1 cases died. The cure rate is 98.5%. The average start-up time of every rescue group in place was 8.8 min. The average reception time of shunt group was 4.5 min. The average start-up time of burn specialist rescue was 18.65 min. The average time of deep vein puncturing was 11.3 min. Conclusions Through the implementation of emergency rescuing mode in mass burns, burn patients got a scientific and reasonable prehospital triage and treatment.
