Abstract

Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is less invasive than surgical valve replacement, but its complications can be fatal. Herein, we report a case that was successfully treated with renal stent implantation necessitated by coronary obstruction (CO) occurring during TAVI. According to our English literature search, this is the first case in which renal stent implantation has been done as a treatment for CO occurring during TAVI.
