Abstract
The coking wastewater drainage will bring severe water environmental pollution, so reuse of post-treatment coking wastewater as make-up water for circulating cooling system is an important way. Electrochemical oxidation combined flocculation technology was proposed for treating coking wastewater. The effects of the electrolytic voltage, current density, electrode distance, pH value, electrolytic time, concentration of electrolyte and the dosage of flocculent on COD removal efficiencies were investigated. Experimental data showed that electrochemical oxidation combined flocculation technology used for treating coke wastewater had better synergic effect, which could obtain stable effluent water quality and satisfy the criterion of “Design criterion of the industrial circulating cooling water treatment” (GB 50050-1995).
