Abstract
This article discusses a cognitive-behavioral group approach to address interpersonal violence among adolescents. While much attention has been directed toward the prevention of youth violence, there has been less attention directed toward treatment modalities for those exhibiting a propensity for resorting to violence in order to solve interpersonal conflicts. The participants in the group were identified as aggressive and violent by their families or agencies within their communities. The group's goals, objectives, and format are discussed. The theoretical framework that lead to the development of the group is also discussed.
