Abstract

The purpose of this case report is to present a description of the diagnosis and treatment to ABO standards of a patient with a mutilated Angle's Class II, Division 1 malocclusion, complicated by anterior dental crowding, and a dolicofacial skeletal pattern. Treatment involved extraction of the maxillary first premolars, lingual arches to enhance anchorage, and J-hook headgear to retract the maxillary anterior segments.
