Abstract

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of treatment for gastroesophageal reflux disease in the treatment of laryngopharyngeal reflux disease. Methods 98 patients with laryngopharyngeal reflux disease whose main clinical manifestation was chronic pharyngitis were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group, 49 for each group. The control group were treated with routine treatment of chronic pharyngitis and the experimental group with treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, for 12 weeks. After the treatment, the treatment effects were compared between these two groups. Results The total effective rate was 87.76% in the experimental group and was 26.53% in the the control group, with a statistical difference (P<0.05) . No obvious adverse reactions occurred in both groups during the treatment. Conclusions Treatment for gastroesophageal reflux disease in the treatment of laryngopharyngeal reflux disease is effective and can obviously improve the patients’ clinical symptoms, so it is worth being clinically generalized. Key words: Gastroesophageal reflux disease; Laryngopharyngeal reflux disease; Chronic pharyngitis; Curative effect
