Abstract

RATIONALE: Most studies assessing the risk of posterior subcapsular cataract (PSC) development in association with oral or inhaled steroid use have been cross-sectional; here, the risk of PSC development was assessed in budesonide-treated asthma patients followed longitudinally through childhood into adulthood.
