Abstract

Seventy-six patients with hydrocele have been treated and cured by the method of one twin injection of lithium salicylate and quinine hydrochloride and urethane. The average loss of time was two to three days. No hospitalization was necessary in any one case of this series. No complications occurred and there was no setback in any of the patients who suffered from myocardial or pulmonary conditions. This method, if used in carefully selected cases, may do away with the hazard of surgery and save money and time for the patient.
