Abstract
Objective To observe the clinic effect of treating senile chronic heart failure (CHF) by means of the target dosage of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) with Shenmai injecta. Methods 85 sufferers of CHF are divided into the treatment group with 43 cases, and the contrast groupwith 42 cases.Based on the conventional treatment, sufferers in the treatment group get intravenous drip of Shenmai injecta, 10 -15 days as a course of treatment, one course for each month, with the dosage of ACEI gradually adjusted from the starting dosage to the target dosage and such treatment is maintained, while suffers of the contrast group receive the conventional treatment.Results The effective percentage for the treatment group is 100％, and 76.2％ for the contrst group(P<0.01).Conclusions Treating senile chronic heart failure by means of ACEI target dosage with Shenmai injecta can effectively improve the heart function, reverse the ventricle expansion, improve the diastolic function, improve the ischemia myocardial, myocardial anoxia, decreases the digitalis toxic effect, and improves the prognosis effectively.
