ABSTRACT This article presents a family program set in an intensive outpatient setting for treating alcohol/other drug problems. The program stems from concern that families are not provided enough attention and/or services as residential settings have provided in the past. In addition, the collaborative process in developing the program between professionals from two different disciplines will be illuminated.
