Abstract
In April, 2022, the foundation stone of the WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine, the first and only global outpost centre in the world for traditional medicine, was laid by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. Others in attendance included the Indian Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and WHO Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus, among other dignitaries.
