Abstract

Objective To investigate the treatment method for abdominal wall defect caused by high-voltage electric injury. Methods The treatment of 37 patients with abdominal wall defect caused by high voltage electrical injury were analyzed retrospectively. Results Repaired of abdominal wall defect with greater retinal cover, residual abdominal hernia requires late repaired. Suture with polypropylene fiber mesh, tighten the wound, and then medium thickness skin graft. With polypropylene fiber mesh and medium thickness skin graft, the residual abdominal wall was poor. The effect of skin graft and local skin flap transplantation and skin flap position in the thick skin or edge thick skin graft was the best. Conclusions Repair of abdominal wall defect caused by high voltage electrical injury, the effect of skin graft and local skin flap transplantation and skin flap position in the thick skin or edge thick skin graft is the best.
