Abstract

Background: Treacher Collins syndrome is congenital disorder characterized by developmental anomalies of the maxillofacial region. The zygomatic complex and mandible are usually involved. Case Presentation: We are hereby reporting the clinical and radiological features of two cases of Treacher Collins syndrome occurring in different age groups. The extraoral and intraoral features of this syndrome are described in detail. Conclusion: Multiple major reconstructive surgical procedures in severe form of TCS shown only marginal improvement. Therefore future research should be directed towards preventive aspects and early prenatal detection of this condition.
