Abstract

Helene Cixous's Secret Angel, which was published in 1991, examines trauma, fear, and the bonds that combine writing. Traumatic events that cannot be described, which constitute the origin of fear, come into being through writing. The narration of these events requires the questioning of all kinds of destructive power in order to create a new literary space that will be a privileged field for creative journalism from now on. In this interrogation both destructive and creative emotions such as fear, anger, pain and pleasure have an important place.
