Abstract

In this work, the spherically symmetric wormhole solutions have been obtained in the four-dimensional Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet (4D EGB) gravity with isotropic and anisotropic matter sources. With each type of source, the traversable wormholes satisfying asymptotic flatness and flare-out conditions are developed. Further, the energy conditions explaining the nature of the matter in the interior of the wormhole are tested and the stability of wormhole solutions has been analyzed.
