Abstract
The artucle is devoted to the travel genre, one of the actual subjects of literary criticism. The term "travelogue," as opposed to the classic travel genre, is currently utilized in international literary criticism, according to the author. The author uses research from foreign researchers to describe this phrase, allowing us to recognize the definitions of this genre, its traits, and its components. Also, this article compares the genre of "sayohatnoma", the literary genre of travel and "travelogue", revieling the issues with equivalence and identity.
