Abstract
In this article, we study the traveling waves of a generalized Beddington–DeAngelis predator–prey model which covers the general case of Holling–Tanner model. We also introduce some simulation figures to support the analysis. The main contributions are stated below: (i) We construct a new form of shrinking rectangle, which improves the range of the parameters to ∞, to discuss the asymptotic behavior; (ii) We provide a pair of new upper and lower solutions to deal with the singularity of the predator equation.
