Abstract

AbstractThis chapter identifies the daily travel behaviour of older people in China based on surveys in Beijing, including daily travel frequency, travel purpose, travel mode, travel duration and departure time. Comparing the travel characteristics of older people with those of the younger promotes understanding of the travel behaviour of older people. Data from the Beijing Household Travel Surveys in 2005, 2010 and 2014 were mainly used for analysis.
