Abstract

Abstract Nonpenetrating head injury causing an intracranial aneurysm in an infant is rare. A case of this type is presented and the pertinent literature is reviewed. Because of the high mortality and morbidity associated with traumatic aneurysms, infants with severe head injury require cognizance that late deterioration may be due to an intracranial aneurysm.
