Abstract
Summary— Traumatic degloving of the penis occurs mainly in farm and industrial accidents. Ten cases of this injury treated over a period of 3 years are presented and the problems discussed. Prompt evacuation and immediate operation save life and preserve the testes (if the scrotum is involved) and result in complete recovery of function. A thick split skin graft is the treatment of choice.
