Trauma pan-computed tomography (CT) reporting discrepancies at a major trauma centre between registrar and consultant reports

Abstract

Background: Pan-CT scans are regularly used at our major trauma centre to assess patients with significant mechanism of injury. The pan-CT is initially reported by the on call radiology registrar with a final report issued by a consultant radiologist.
