Abstract
We describe the case of a 37-year-old woman with a diagnosis of premature ovarian failure and a 3-month history of amenorrhea. Follicle-stimulating hormone levels were 95 IU/ml. The patient received drug therapy and weekly acupuncture sessions. After 1 month, hormone values returned to normal and regular menstrual cycles resumed.
