Introduction

These animals had no contact with any type of medication for a period of 60 days and presented clinical signs of otitis, which were confirmed by cytology showing presence of the perpetuating agents (bacteria or yeasts). The treatment of external otitis consists in removing the primary cause, reducing inflammation, and controlling perpetuating factors.
