Introduction

Sporotrichosis is caused by the fungus Sporothrix schenckii which infects human and animals. É relatado o caso de um gato com esporotricose que, após 19 meses de tratamento regular com itraconazol, apresentou uma nova lesão localizada na bolsa escrotal. Após 5 meses de tratamento, não havendo regressão da lesão, foi realizada a exérese da bolsa escrotal e orquiectomia.
