Abstract
How do Brazilian juvenile audiovisual narratives portrayed by transvestite adolescents present themselves? To answer this question, the film Alice Júnior (2019) is adopted as an object of study. Thus, the objective was to understand the processes of approaching transvestility in a Latin American film aimed at teenagers, based on a theoretical-applied analysis rooted in Queer Theory. As a result, there were discussions on gender and sexuality studies applied to audiovisual, reflections on narratives aimed at teenagers, as well as observations of the discursive aspects of the aforementioned film.
