Abstract

AbstractThis chapter focuses on the preparation of 3-D braided composite beams and the analysis of the thermo-mechanical properties of epoxy resin using dynamic mechanical analysis tests and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The principle of SHPB transverse impact is introduced, and the heating device is designed to test the transverse impact properties of the specimens at different temperatures and different impact pressures. The finite element results are compared and analyzed with the test results to verify the validity of the model. The effects of ambient temperature, loading rate, and braided structure on the transverse impact behavior of the composite beams are mainly investigated by test methods.
