Abstract

The use of ultrasound guidance during embryo transfer has been reported to increase pregnancy and implantation rates. All reports, however, have utilized transabdominal ultrasonography. We have developed a novel method of embryo transfer using transvaginal ultrasound guidance (TUG), which provides better resolution than transabdominal ultrasonography, allowing very accurate placement of embryos.
