Abstract
Objective To assess the effect of transscleral diode laser cyclophotocoagulation combined with paracentesis of anterior chamber in management of aphakic secondary glaucoma.Methods 12eyes of 12 cases of aphakic secondary glaucoma accepted transscleral diode laser cyclophotocoagulation combined with paracentesis of anterior chamber.All cases were followed up for 6 to 15 months.Results In the last follow-up,the intraocular pressure decreased obviously (t =7.4712,P <0.001 ),the pain sensation were relieved in all cases.Conclusion Transscleral diode laser cyclophotocoagulation combined with paracentesis of anterior chamber is effective in management of aphakic secondary glaucoma.
