Abstract

Transportation ridesharing network modeling tool, abbreviated as TransRNM, provides a framework to predict the flow and demand pattern of urban transportation networks with ridesharing services, referred to as the ridesharing network. The prediction of traffic flow and travel demand in the context of ridesharing is vital for modern urban transportation planning and management. TransRNM provides flexible interface to define ridesharing networks, for any specific urban transportation networks, with multiple ridesharing services, network structures, travel costs, choice behaviors, and demand elasticity degrees. This document describes the various components in TransRNM, and presents the input information and output results in detail. It further demonstrates TransRNM through two illustrative examples.
