Abstract
AbstractThe article discusses topical issues of universities digitalization on the example of a transport university, topical problems and priority goals of its development in relation to the state of national economy. Deepening cooperation between Russia and developed countries, integration into the world economy and international labor market, ongoing economy digitalization suggests that building an innovative economy, a knowledge economy is for Russia only a matter of time. The most important role in the creation of a knowledge society is played by universities of various orientations, which ensure the creation of personnel necessary for the economy, with an appropriate level of education and a set of competencies. According to research, every $ 35,000 invested in education brings in $ 1 million in return. The authors highlight a number of factors for the further development of mechanisms for integrating a transport university into the digital environment of national economy, taking into account the prospects of labor market and education in the new economy, digitalization of education, digitalization of the economy and ongoing pandemic. The product of digital revolution, fourth industrial revolution (CPR), is the digital model of economy (CE), which increasingly embraces material production. In the G20 group, in terms of the CPR-CE contribution to GDP, the world leaders are the United Kingdom, the Republic of Korea, China, Japan and the United States.
