Abstract

A-site deficiency is expected in Sr 1 − x Zr 1 − y Y y Y y O 3 − δ and SrZr 1− y Y y Ti z O 3 ± δ compositions but protonic conduction was retained. The conductivity of Sr 1 − x Zr 1 − y O 3 − δ materials is higher than for the remaining compositions. Reoxidation after heat treatment in H 2-containing atmospheres causes changes in conductivity, which was interpreted to evaluate the relevant transport numbers.
