Abstract

We investigate the anomalous temperature and doping dependence of the Hall coefficient in high- T c cuprate superconductors. The study is performed within the framework of the boson–fermion model, which describes a mixture of quasi-free electrons and tightly bound electron pairs, hybridized with each other via a charge–exchange mechanism. The model is analyzed in the limit of infinite dimensions using the non-crossing approximation within the dynamical mean-field theory.
