Abstract

We have measured the temperature dependence of electrical resistivity, Hall coefficient and thermoelectric power using a high-quality single crystal CeCo 2. All transport properties exhibit clear differences compared to that of YCo 2, indicating itinerant 4f character in Ce. In superconductive mixed state, we have measured the field dependence of the flux flow resistivity at constant temperature, and have found an anomalous pinning structure related to the peak effect reported for the AC-susceptibility measurements.
